    Hi, there,

How do you know that every third image is ignored? I tested with webpagetest.org with mobile Chrome emulator on and It seems that all big images of the slides are resized. The test is here https://www.webpagetest.org/result/150521_YF_10MP/1/details/.

And this is what it says for the big images:

    https://www.dreilaend...4/07/aussen-0680.jpg image/jpeg 150.7KB
    https://www.dreilaend.../2014/06/fassade.jpg image/jpeg	150.2KB
    https://www.dreilaend...4/07/aussen-0676.jpg image/jpeg 151.6KB

Is this not correct? Should I test something else?

    Hi
I tested on google chrome emulator.
The size for every third image was the original size. No resize.
Ok, maybe i did something wrong.
But with the other, smaller slider, google returns that all images are beeing resized.
I’ll check your link and verify your result.
    I will let you know.
    Thanks for your care.

Ok, i have seen your results. Since they all have the same weight in KB i conclude that the resize happens for all images.
This is the result i get from google (sorry it is not english):

As you can see one image keeps the original dimensions.
    Probably a mistake.

Anyway thanks a lot for your care.

    regards

I am not sure if the Google emulator actually behaves like a mobile device! It must report its screen size as a mobile device. If it reports a screen size of the desktop computer then there will be no resize by the plugin.

On the other hand the webpagetest.org can test a website like a real mobile device. It has settings for this. Check it out!

So, this is probably the same reason that Google does not report smaller image sizes, too! I do understand a little German ??

Thank you so much for your feedback!

I know that webpagetest.org has good mobile environment emulation. And I use it myself all the time. Does gtmetrix have such a capability too?

    Hi Nevma
Yes, gtmetrix provides a mobile emulation and a very good interface.
    This is the specification:

    Test Server Region: Vancouver, Canada
Using: Chrome (Android, Galaxy Nexus) 26.0.1410.58, Page Speed 1.12.16, YSlow

As with webpagetest mobile emulation is limited. For GTmetrix the testpoint is Vancouver.
