Full width layout not working

  • hi there..I am trying to change the page layout option for my inner pages, but it again gets back to the default layout. I have installed a theme called victoria, version 2.1. i want the sidebar to display only on the homepage and not other inner pages. there is an option to change the layout between Left Sidebar or Right Sidebar or Full Width on every page edit, but it doesnt seem to work. do i need to upgrade the theme for this to work? i am using WP 3.6.

    i am a graphic designer and have very basic knowledge of wordpress.i have no clue about the coding part and rely totally on forums and support!

  • you might need to contact your theme’s developer for support.
    where exactly did you download the theme from?

    be aware that this forum only supports themes from https://www.ads-software.com/themes/

    Hi alchymyth.. thank you for your reply. I had bought the theme from a former co-worker. it seems the theme is outdated hence the layout not working. Sadly it isnt from https://www.ads-software.com/themes/.

    Can you guide me as to how i can edit the theme myself so that it works. I m really keen on learning wordpress and coding on my own. but i havent been able to find any useful information on the internet about solving my problem through coding. just a little push in the right direction would be enough. Thank you so much for your help.

    It looks like you need to go to https://themeforest.net/user/system32 to get support for your theme from the original developer as commercial themes are not supported here.
