    Hi,

We’ve used and appreciated the Lovecraft theme for years. Now a user is building a new site using Full Width page template, and for some reason the content is duplicated on the page. For example, https://choreography-spring2022.sites.grinnell.edu/. We’ve not encountered this problem before, and I haven’t been able to figure out a solution.

    Thanks,

    Mo Pelzel

    Hi @mpelzel,

I can’t replicate this issue on the demo site or in my development environment, and there isn’t any output in the theme itself that could result in output in that location in the markup. Are you running a child theme or any plugins that could be causing the issue? Could you try with different content, in case there are closing divs in the content of the page you link to?

Thanks for checking it out, Anders. We’ve tried deactivating the plugins and reactivating one by one, but that didn’t resolve it. Same issue in either editor. We also tried rolling back to an earlier version of WP, with no luck. No, we’re not running a child theme. The issue is happening with every page created in this particular site.

The same user has a similar site from fall 21, https://danceensemblef21.sites.grinnell.edu, which uses the same version of Lovecraft (2.0.1), the same version of WP (5.8.3), and the same plugin set … and uses full width page template with no problem.

We’ve solved the problem … switched the site to a different theme, deleted current version of Lovecraft, then reinstalled fresh version of Lovecraft, reactivated it, and switched back to it. Problem solved. Somehow, the original Lovecraft theme files must have gotten corrupted, but don’t know how.
