I can confirm that if I add images and new slides they do not work either?

Looks like images 1 and 3 are zero byte sized. It’s an indication that something went wrong when you uploaded them. I’d suggest checking your file/ownership permissions on the parent directories.

Hi, thanks for the response. The images worked for weeks, until today? If it is a permission setting, I would have to wonder why no other image in the slider or throughout the site is effected?

Additionally, if I upload a new image, why doesn’t it work on the slider?

What happens if you just upload an image into the media library.

Well, I’ve just tried it and I get this –

“homepage-slider1 – Copy.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
Failed to write file to disk.

Any ideas as I am now really confused.

So, if the server has failed to write to disk, the first thing to check is file/ownership permissions on the wp-content/uploads directory tree.

Thank you so much for your responses. I think we have spotted the issue and now are in the process of fixing it. The site was out of storage! Not sure why the images were affected like that, so we are expanding it’s available space in an effort to fix the situation.

Increasing the disk quota has fixed the issue, this thread can be closed / marked as resolved. Thanks.
