Full WP backup

    Hi,

    Does freemium Updraft Plus create a full WP backup?

    One of our managed sites crashed but as per our dev, we are unable to relaunch the site using the backups because they’re incomplete.

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus by default will only backup the files within the “wp-content” which should be enough to restore the site unless you have made customisations in the WP core where you will already need the premium version of UpdraftPlus.

    To restore your site you would only need the db, themes, plugins, uploads and others zip files. Here’s our guide – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/restore-site-updraftplus/
