Hello… my embedded Vimeo videos work fine. Click the thumbnail, lightbox opens, plays automatically (that’s how I configured it), fullscreen button displays/works until…

The videos ends. Then, the fullscreen button, in fact the entire playbar, does not display. You must press the Escape key to exit fullscreen which, for many of my users, will be an unknown remedy.

This may be a Vimeo issue but I thought I would begin with you first.

There’s only a single video at my website (URL above).

    Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked the URL above and I was able to play the video and when it ended I was able to close the video and play it again without any issues. I also made sure the video played in full screen mode. Is this what you are trying to achieve at your end?

You might want to delete the browser cache and then try again. Also what browser did you use for testing? I used Google Chrome in Windows 11.

    Kind regards.

Thanks for your response. I do not believe this is an issue with your plugin. The video works as expected only after the video ends in fullscreen, the playbar, which includes the exit fullscreen button, disappears. You must press the Esc key to exit fullscreen. I tested this outside of WP and I concluded this is how it’s supposed to behave.

I’m using Version Chrome 132.0.6834.197 (Official Build) (64-bit), btw.

    Thx again.

There is an x that appears in the top centre of the video while in full screen mode that allows you to click on the X and it will restore the full screen to the standard screen. To have the X appear, all you have to do is move your mouse curser to the top of the screen and the X appears. I tested this using Microsoft Edge browser just to verify that it also works on other browsers, not just Google Chrome.

    Kind regards.
