Hi there, I need to display a slider (two images fading into each other), before the page is displayed.

But I also need to be able to re-target, meaning, only show the loading screen modal popup thingie, once per visitor within 24 hours.

I have been pulling my hair with javascript for a week now. Anything I try either shows the website for a split second and then the popup, or I can not re-target it, so it shows in every page load.

Can this be done with this plugin?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @alframe,
Thanks for reaching out to us!

Can this be done with this plugin?
No! Our plugin does not have these features, you can test it. And I think there is no other preloader plugin that has all these features, you have to write your own preloader plugin.

I wish you success and advise you to be patient, with patience and hard work, ideas and solutions will find their way to our minds.

    Thanks!

Well, there’s a point where I will suggest to the client to make a landing page, if it’s that important show black, without seeing the website for a second.

I tried countless solutions. But I kept running into the issue that I have to make two independent objects look each other’s visibility up…

Until my searches resulted in “preloading”, so I ended up here.

It also seems counter-web-philosphy, to show a popup instead of the actual page at first glance. Seems like fighting windmills.

Thanks again. I’ll continue my don Quichotte travels through the endless fields of the interwebs, hoping I don’t end up being the donkey. ??

    Alex
