Function Advanced_Ads_Plugin::user_cap is deprecated

    We recently installed Query Monitor to debug some errors at our site, and found the main issue to render pages is something related to Advanced Ads:

    Function Advanced_Ads_Plugin::user_cap is deprecated since version 1.47.0! Use \AdvancedAds\Utilities\WordPress::user_cap() instead.+

    Any idea what could be causing this or how to debug it?

    Function Advanced_Ads_Plugin::user_cap is deprecated since version 1.47.0! Use \AdvancedAds\Utilities\WordPress::user_cap() instead.

    Also, the Advanced Ads plugin was updated just 2 days ago, it is showing this message: Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.

    My current WP version is:
    Current version: 6.3.2

    Getting the same message here. Is there a way to revert to the previous installation?

    for now, reverting to the old version 1.46.0 has solved my problem, you can download an older version by clicking on “Advanced View” on plugin page:

    Same error for me (Pro+Free version installed). Downgrading normal Advanced Ads to 1.46.0 solved the problem.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting your issues. If you see these alerts in the error log or the query monitor, just ignore them. This is not an error and not a reason to go back to an old plugin version. Those messages will disappear as soon as we have updated all affected plugin sections. We are going to release an update today that should resolve this issue. But it can happen that similar messages can also come from the Responsive Add-on until we fix that, too in the next few days.

    Please update to version: 1.47.3 The deprecation warning was addressed in this updated and should not be an issue anymore.
