Function Reference/login header (Password Reset Text)

    Hello. I’m trying to edit the default password reset text, “Enter your new password below” to something more descriptive.

    According to this page, https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Function_Reference/login_header I am able to change it in the wp-login.php file, but I’m concerned if I update WordPress in the future, it will overwrite it.

    Is there a way to do this in the functions.php in the theme folder? Thanks
