    1. Add the ability to duplicate a popup.
    2. I also want the default popup to be added to the pages on which it is used, without having to specify the targeting conditions. This has already been written here.

    Hi @andreslav,

Thanks for taking the time to post!

    1. Duplicate a popup – A popup is just a custom post type and can be duplicated using most post duplication plugins.
    2. This is quite tricky, although we understand where you’re coming from! However as explained by our lead developer on the post you linked, our popups are designed to load up this way to make it easier for people that trigger popups on sitewide areas like menus and footers. This is also why we employ vast options for targeting for people with more specific requirements.

    Hi @kimmyx,

    1. Thanks for the advice, I found and did it!
    2. Understood. It’s good that you know! By the way, I noticed that if you create a popup opening link in the page editor, the popup will be added to the page even if this page is not specified in the targeting. Those. partially, you have already implemented the automatic addition of popups to the page.

    Hi @andreslav,

Thanks for the response! We’re glad you were able to find a solution for #1.

For the issue described on #2, it is the default behavior as of the moment. That is, if a popup is not specifically targeted anywhere, it will be preloaded on all pages of the site. That is why the best practice would be to always set a target for a popup where you want it to display unless it is assigned to a header or footer. ??

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have more questions.

@andreslav – By default popups are not published or enabled, both are required to be loaded on the page for users to view. Further you can mark it as draft and use the preview button without anyone else seeing it.

As for autoloading, we do it for a few things like using the [popup_trigger] shortcode, but otherwise there are simply too many variables to do it that way by default and further as explained the bulk use it on every page already, so that needs to be the default at least in the current version.

Maybe a future version using a wizard would ask your preference when making a new popup.
