Function to add directly to template

    Hi,

    Isn’t there a function to add the posts directly to the template?

    I’m also using WordPress Popular Posts and in this case I have the wpp_get_mostpopular() function that I call directly in my template.

    Can’t I do the same with Recently?
    If it’s possible, how would I do it?

    Hi there!

    No, at the moment there’s no way to add Recently to your theme other than via sidebar widgets. I may consider adding a function similar to WPP’s in a future release seeing that there’s at least some users (including you) interested in this so thanks for commenting.

    I’ll go with WP’s wp_get_recent_posts() function or a custom query.
