Functionality disappears when product update

  • First of all, great plugin. I use it with WooCommerce version 3.6.5. When i create a new product, it works fine. Only if i want to edit end update that product the product the whole functionality disappears from the WooCommerce admin (product edit page) and the product acts like a normal variabele product.

    I can’t change the buy button and external url and/or add multiple external url’s anymore.

    Also: on the front-end the buy button changes into a normale buy button (without the external) link.

  • Hi Frankoonk, I seem to remember having the same problem. Might want to check that Enable the ‘Affiliate Product’ option in the ‘Inventory’ tab of your Variable Product is still enabled after editing the product?

    Hi Altnet, thanks for your answer. When i switch from variable product to external product and back again to variable product, the option “Affiliate product” in the “inventory” tab suddenly appears and is enabled. And, I’m also able to fill in different url’s on different product variations.

    However, i’m not able to edit the (main) button text.

    I’ve tried to replicate this on a fresh install (default theme/WooCommerce/AMB VAP) without success. Have you tried a conflict test? If not please give it a shot and let us know what you find: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

    If the conflict test doesn’t help, could you please provide detailed, step-by-step, instructions on how to replicate this issue?
