Functionality of “Output type”

    Hi!

    I’m guessing that the “Output type” field when creating a feed allows one to control the output. For example, setting it to “Strip tags” removes all html tags. Is this the intended behavior (I didn’t find anything to that in the documentation).
    If yes, it does not work as intended because neither “Strip tags” nor “Remove shortcodes” modifies the output (tried with xml and cvs feed).

    Would be great to know if I just misunderstood the functionality here or if there is indeed a bug.

    Ok, thanks!

    It seems to work, although with a delay. After changing and saving a feed, it seems to take some time until the change is actually modifying the feed file.
