• I am a blogger whose strategy is driven by contests.

But they are the bane of my existence. Communicating how to enter my contests, how to submit, who won. It’s usually so much work!

Competition form helped me to completely automate a contest for the first time! The set-up is fairly simple. If you have Contact Form 7, you just create an entry form as a contact form and save it. Then in Competition Form you link the form to a competition. The plug-in allows you to select a random winner and even lets you set parameters (such as filtering out responses you got after a set deadline). I’m still trying to figure out if I can set it up to remove duplicate entries. If it does, that’s a slam dunk for me.

Great plug-in that makes my job easy!

    Hi Nikki Massie

I am happy to investigate these errors further for you – I have de-bugged the plugin but cannot re-create your issues.

If you would like me to explore further to fix, please send me a message via https://raiserweb.com/

    Many thanks

I doubt you would get the same issue as you aren’t using the same list as me. I’m not 100% sure that it’s an issue but I asked for randomized winners seven times and each time got people within a short period of the overall entry time. That isn’t a time when a lot of entries came in, so I don’t think the number of entries could account for that many randomized results turning up that way.

It happened again today. All three winners of my contest, when I asked for random winners, were chosen from the EXACT same time stamp.

I will again have to extract the list to run through an online randomizer. The ONLY thing thus plug-in has helped with really is saving contact form data.

I’m happy to email screenshots if you like.

Ok I feel like a fool. I must renounce!

I was looking at the time the winners were picked.

My deepest apologies and anyone reading my review I AM ADMITTING I WAS WRONG.

    Thanks much.

    HI Nikki Massie

Glad you found the source of the confusion.

Would it be possible to change the rating accordingly, or give a new rating?

I have made this plugin for free, and it’s nice to have suitable ratings.

    Many thanks
