    Hi @kpolljonker ,

Thanks for your valuable feedback. Please be assured that we appreciate your feedback and take it seriously.

The summary emails are not spam, they are emails that Duplicator sends to you to let you know how Duplicator performs on your website.

We added this feature to improve our customers’ experience by sending emails that include significant information like how many successful backups, and the number of failed backups.

Our intention is to help you protect your website. These emails can help you discover potential problems with Duplicator so that you can fix them always to be able to recover your website if it gets attacked or crashes.

You can disable the email summary feature by setting the “Frequency” option to “Never” in Duplicator Pro > Settings > Email Summary

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you need help or encounter a problem with Duplicator. I’m happy to help you.

    Thanks!

“… they are emails that Duplicator sends to you to let you know how Duplicator performs on your website.”

The only two thing in these emails are:

    1. Summary of automated backups (none of them, becasue that’s a premium feature)
    2. Upsell link to buy PRO

“The summary emails are not spam” – I disagree. The definition of spam is:

    1. Unsollicited
    2. Bulk e-mail
    3. Of a commercial nature

I never asked (1)for the email with the upsell(2), and I get it on each and every site (in bulk)(3) – it is automativcally turned ON which is annoying at best.

This is why I see them as spam. Never asked for them, not one single use for free users besides upselling and now I have another plugin that requires even more steps to reduce spam, every time I setup a new site.
