• I imported pretty well from Blogger after many tries, but in the end, it came in with a couple of dummy, dead archives: “12” and “9”. I just want to delete them off of my archive list…it seems like that should be easy, but all this is new to me~ How can I just delete them from the “archives” list on my front page?

    *bump* — anyone? Please? ^^

I’ve just run into the same problem…if anyone knows how to delete those dummy archives it would be much appreciated ??

    Really hate to bump…but…

Anyone have a clue? I’ve been through every file I could think of, and sifted through the database and am still clueless about how to fix this.

the only thing i can think of, is it imported bad “posts” it’d have to be from a “bad” post that came in the month of december (12) and september? (9) try going into your posts and checking all those posts in those months, that you imported from blogger and see if there seem to be any weird dates and the like.

Kafkaesqui that was exactly it! Thanks for the link, I was unable to find that on my own. I know next to nothing about databases but it was so straightforward once the problem was clear.

locomote, my problem was with the 0 archive, but your problem looks identical. You must have duplicates of those two months, it shouldn’t be too hard to sort them out and delete one set.

    Kafkaesqui — you are a GOD~!!
    Thanks~ ^^
I went into phpMyAdmin (wp_posts) and found a couple of dates that were:
    0009-00-00 00:00:00 and
    0012-00-00 00:00:00

Changed them to appropraite dates and all is well.
