I installed this plugin once or the sole purpose of seeing the Checkout steps and then after reading the support regarding that area removed it. My checkout steps are as follows:

    1. view product
    2. cart
    3. checkout
    4. confirmation

They are not changeable since they are set up for a client. I tried to install the code manually, but cannot figure out where to put it or how to differentiate the pages in WordPress, as I’m not very good with JS. That being said, I’m back here.

How does your plugin know that “view product” means I want it to track all users coming in to view the product pages? And how does it then know where my cart is? It would have to have human intelligence to work the way that it is suggested in the previous support topics, only setting it up in GA.

    Hi,

The thought behind labeling the Checkout steps in GA is, to track the user flow or the checkout behavior in the Checkout page.
We have designed the plugin, keeping in mind the logical breakdown of the “Checkout” page, which has to be labelled in the GA itself, and the rest is done by our plugin.

    Hope that addresses your concern.

    Thanks ??
