well, simply: when you publish post, it should automatically appear in timeline (means not embedding codes somewhere external as it is now)… Hope I am clear.

Yes, thank you. We’re considering this feature. StoryMap was designed very strongly with an eye towards storytelling, and it seems that in many cases collections of blog posts don’t actually group into a narrative in the way that StoryMap does best, but you’re not the only person to request it.

This would also be a nice feature to add.
I would assume you could improve a narrative by allowing authors to filter or include posts by tag or category. Perhaps this would be more inline with storytelling, as authors could visualize the progression of particular new events in a organised chronological manner.
