    Hi
I’ve used this plugin for sites for a while now, it’s good and I’ve never had a problem but I now have an issue with future events not showing on the calendar view. Events preview fine and can be viewed as an individual post but do not appear on the calendar. I’ve disabled all plugins and tried switching to the 2016 theme but still no joy. Is there anything else I can try?
    Regards
    Ant

    Hi
I’ve still got this issue with future events not showing, as soon as I search in month view all events appear on the calendar. Any idea how I can fix this?

I had this issue also. I deactivated all plugins, then activated the events plugin first. My events showed back up. After going through all my plugins….

My issue was it conflicted with WooCommerce. What I did was change the page slug from “events” to “calendar”. I did this on the events page and in the “The Events Calendar” settings. Then my events showed back up.

Hey @ant, does following the same testing instructions @acufftg shared yield similar results?

    Hi
just updating this issue, the month view issue still persists, I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and re activating the events calendar first but the future events (in sept 2017) do not appear. I’m a bit stuck as why this would happen as I’ve used this plugin alot with no issues before. Any help much appreciated.

Still no luck with this issue, have tried deactivating all plugins and reactivating only the calendar, switching themes, slug, permalinks and upgrading to WP 4.6 and I still can’t view future events in the calendar view.

    Hi Ant,

Are you able to set up a test site to see if you can reproduce the issue with only the default WP theme and our plugin installed/activated? I’m not able to reproduce the issue and we don’t have any logged bugs of users reporting similar issues. Let me know and have a great evening. Cheers!

    Hi
I have a dev site but it’s not released for public view yet, the issue seems to be the search bar. In month view when I select a month to view from the filter bar above the calendar the below message is displayed:

“There were no results found for “Search” this month. Try searching next month”

So the filter seems to be looking for events that use the keyword “Search”, can disable this feature so all events are displayed by default?

I’m experiencing what is most likely the same issue. My Month view events page comes up with no issues, but switching to the next or previous month causes the placeholder text of the search filter field to be taken as the filter value, so it searches for events with the literal “Keyword” in it. Typing a space in the keyword, or removing the URL parameter from the address, works around it, but this should not be necessary.

My site is available at https://www.toastmastersantwerpen.be. The events page is https://www.toastmastersantwerpen.be/calendar.

    Hi @duwo25,

Can you confirm for me whether this is is still happening for you as of the latest update? I’m not seeing the issues on my end at this point on your site.

    Thanks,

    Shelby ??

    Hi Shelby,

Thanks for checking in. The issue has been resolved. Or at the least, I was able to work around it. First of all, I disabled the search filter. Since our organisation only has a couple of events per month, there was no real need for it. At that point, it worked for all calendars when looking at a specific category, except for the month view for all categories. I was using /calendar as the url for this. After I changed that to /calendar/category/all, everything worked fine.

    Best regards,

    Wouter
