• Hey guys, do you have any plans to add more features to your plugin? None have been added in a while. We can use the following:

    • Defer or Async CSS files (individually or all at once)
    • Remove Unused CSS
    • Delay loading of JS files until user interaction (individually or all at once)
    • Convert images to AVIF format (supported by major browsers)
    • Host Google fonts locally
    • Ability to dequeue unused assets (JS and CSS files) on a per page or post basis

In short, sharing your SGO development roadmap with your customers would be nice (via blog or by pinning this topic at the top of your plugin’s support section).

    Thank you!

    Hello @generosus,

Thank you for your suggestions. We will make sure to forward them for further review.

While we cannot share any concrete plans at this point, I can assure you that our developers are constantly looking to improve the plugin. The final decision which functionalities would be selected for development is theirs and is based on popular demand and future development plans for the plugin.

As soon as new features are added we will include this information in the changelog.

    Best regards,
    Dimo

    Hi there!

Thanks for your help and quick reply.

So you know, we have submitted numerous suggestions or recommendations via your chat system and your email feedback [at] siteground [dot] com, but never hear back from SiteGround. All suggestions seem to go into a “black hole.”

As suggested over a year ago, and to provide more transparency to your customers, we’d like to recommend SiteGround create and publish a Feature Request and/or Roadmap website similar to the ones provided below. They are awesome and get the job done.

Hopefully, you guys can move on this quickly. We need more features ??

    Thank you!

    Hello @generosus,

If you have any suggestions, questions, or recommendations in regard to our WordPress plugins please use the appropriate WordPress forum. This is the best method to share any ideas, or suggestions for new features or ask any questions related to our plugins.

In regards to the other topic, I can not add anything else besides the information already provided by Dimo earlier. For now, track the changelog for updates/changes and newly included features.

    Best Regards,

    Simeon Boev

    Hi there!

Here’s another great website created for the purpose of collecting plugin feedback from its customers:

    https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Hopefully, SiteGround is looking into adopting a similar approach for its plugins, products, and services. It’s long overdue. ??

    Thank you!
