future posts to show up under 2.x

I am having a devil of a time with this as well. Any help? Surprised this is such a hard topic to find current info on.

I am having the same problem. I tried EventCal plug in, but it destroyed by page. ?? I also tried the FuturePost plug in but it gave me a Mysql error that I couldn’t fix, despite numerous attempts at altering the code.

Can anyone help with this?

Maybe do a search in google because that will also search all the wp-hackers and wp-forums email lists. Sometimes they discuss things that are not discussed in the forums.

Yeah, I tried that. Still coming up empty.

I tried Kafkaesqui’s code, posted on another thread, but either I am not inserting it in the right place or I’m not modifying some aspect of it properly. I’m still stuck.

I think I was able to get future posts to show up by commenting the following lines out in
wp-inclues/post.php

//		if ( mysql2date('U', $post_date_gmt) > mysql2date('U', $now) )
//			$post_status = 'future';

I couldn’t figure out a way to put it into a plugin, but I’m just learning them now…
