It would be great if here was an option to “View all” in the dropdown <select> list.

Because once after the selection is made, and you’re taken to the specific term page, there is no easy way of getting back to all tagged posts again without hitting the browser’s back button or hoping there is a link in the main navigation. Either way, It’s disruptive.

Is there any way of doing this now with get_terms?

Also, after the selection has been made, if the user hits the back button to return back to the original page, the select list isn’t refreshed with the default option in view. Instead, It remains stuck on the last tag chosen.

    Tested with Chrome

WordPress doesn’t currently provide a page that lists all terms in a taxonomy, so this request is beyond the capabilities of this plugin. Via your theme or a plugin, you could generate such an overview page, however my plugin doesn’t currently provide a filter on the dropdown list that would allow you to add arbitrary items to it. I’ve noted this suggestion for a future release.

This is standard browser behaviour (retaining form inputs), as best I know. You could overcome this with JavaScript, but I’m wary of overriding what is now expected browser behaviour.
