G-Pay not shown Minicart and Cart

  • Testing the strip plugin, cannot get the g-Pay button to appear on the mini-cart or the cart page.

    It appears in the checkout (express payment and as browser payment).

    I also installed your PayPal plugin, which shows in the mini-cart and cart ok, and it is grouped together with the stripe express payments ok.

    Have done the standard debugging – removed all customisations (function.php), de-activated all woocommerce related plugins, switched theme to Storefront.

    Mini-Cart is the standard one offered by the Woo Storefront theme.

    Our test / development site is local not accessible via internet.

    Mini-Cart is the standard one offered by the Woo Storefront theme.

    We regularly test Storefront and don’t have that issue. Are you using the GPay gateway, or the Payment Request Gateway which has the GPay offering?

    I have noted something interesting that even on the checkout the G-Pay button does not always appear – sometimes have to refresh the page several times to get it to come up.

    Re-activating the Woocommerce official Stripe plugin, that works fine G-Pay on Cart and Checkout – with no issues.

    We’ll run some more tests. If that other plugin works well for you though, you may consider just using it.
