GA4 Migration – No Live Data (Late to the party)

  • *Please Help*

    I migrated to GA4 and the set up showed as complete, although, there is no live data and since mid September we have seen a complete drop in rankings, direct traffic and conversions. There is now no live data or real-time reporting.

    I have checked the tag and measurement ID, these are both correct.

    The former manager had set up Universal GA via Tag Manager, although i have used the SiteKit plugin for GA4 and i’m unsure if there’s a conflict somewhere.

    I notice the Google Optimise tag has stopped firing now, which would correlate with the decline in data, but i’m struggling to find a fix.

    to update – i have now got the realtime report working and displaying data, although, there is no user / conversion data
