GA4 not receiving all data

    Hi, I’ve installed the module. I followed the steps to setup the Google Consent mode v2 with the GA4 tag mode, putting on the head code:

    1. Script for GCM v2
    2. Script GTM
    3. Using the CookieYes plugin and verifing that its scripts is on the third position in the head

    The CookieYes validator tells me that it’s ok.

    The GTM validator tells me that it’s ok.

    But after installing all this, my Google Analytics 4 is not receiving all the sessions (for instance, Google Search Console tells me that there are more clics than the cicks I can see on GA4; the same for Google Ads). I think that GA4 is not registering the sessions of the users that not accept the cookies (I don speak of data as age, devide, location… I speak of the one session)

    What can I do?

    There are two methods to implement Google Consent Mode when using the CookieYes plugin. Our documentation provides detailed instructions for both methods. However, on the site you’ve shared, both approaches have been implemented simultaneously, which could lead to conflicts.
    To resolve this, we recommend selecting and using only one of the methods.

    I’ve deleted the custom codes (GTM and CookieYes scripts) from the header.php and now only workint with the plugin setup.

    I will review the data on the next days.

    Please exclude the GCM script (gcm.min.js) added by the plugin from JS optimisation.

    Hi.

    I’m using W3 Total Cache. From exclude JS scripts, it tells me for the compelte path of the file. I’ve searched in the plugin folder but I do not found it. Can you tell me the path?

    If I do not exclude this script, do not work fine the GCM? Or is it only a cache problem after I do changes?

    It might not work as expected if you don’t exclude this file from optimisation.
