GA4 PageViews not triggered by GTM

  • Short summary:

    1. We are able to see the PageView Fire in GTM
    2. GTM PageView Tag is linked to the GA4 Measurement ID
    3. No users / page views are detected in GA4 Realtime Report.
    4. “_gl” UTM is automatically added to all links of the website, although cross domain measurement is not enabled

    The measurement from GA stopped working without any intervention that we are aware of in the past. Same for UTM from step 4.
