GA4 Setup Not Working

  • I followed the steps you guys outlined in your YouTube video, but there is still no data populating in the GA4 property after a few days. In the video, he simply turned on the “Enable Google Analytics 4” setting in PixelYourSite after going through “Upgrade to GA4” setup in GA. I did the same, but it’s not working. Am I missing something?

    Hello,

    When this happens, chances are you need to add the GA4 ID, replacing the old Google Analytics Universal ID.

    Keep in mind that the old property will stop getting data.

    Ah okay, unfortunate. Would another option be to purchase the Pro version of PYS and add the GA4 ID, while maintaining the UA ID? Or is not ideal to have 2 GAs on the site like that?

    With the Advanced or Agency licenses you can add multiple tags, that’s correct.

    That’s not a problem.
