    Hi @reikob

Are you using the Slideshow Block or the Tiled Galleries block?

The Slideshow block will allow you to display captions on the Slideshow.

Tiled Galleries, the captions were there before, so I don’t know why they aren’t there now.

    Hi @reikob,

I see you’re using the Classic editor, so captions should indeed appear in the slideshow too.

I suppose this problem happens to all your slideshows and not only on the one you linked, is that correct?

Did you remember if you changed or update anything on your site when you noticed this problem appearing? It’s possible that a plugin or your theme is conflicting with the feature.

To make sure nothing is clashing, can you please temporarily deactivate all your plugins and check if the problem gets fixed that way? If it works, then reactivate each plugin one by one to find out which one is causing problems.

You can also try temporarily switching your theme to Twenty Twenty or another default theme and see if the problem persists. You’re welcome to use the Theme Switcha plugin to do that:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/theme-switcha/

This plugin lets you change themes without it affecting the way users see your site.

Let’s see what you find out, and we’ll take it from there. Thanks for sorting this out with me!

Okay, I got captions back – it was a .css thing in the customizer…but the captions only come up when you click the i button – is there a way for it to always be open?
