    Hi @shorelarkbythesea,

We are sorry but here in the forum, we are offering support for NextGen Gallery’s free plugin’s features and as I can see – you are using a Pro gallery display type and also have questions ref the Pro Lightbox that’s a part of NextGen Plus/Pro.

I hope that you wouldn’t mind to make sure that you have an active Imagely membership account then contact us directly at https://www.imagely.com/support/ so a support agent could take a look at your case ASAP.

    Thanks for your understanding

So, even though I paid for your PRO plugin, but chose not to continue with paying for support year after year, as I needed little support, now the time that I do you want to charge me $US 99 to answer a question…no, I don’t think so. I will delete your plugin, try Envato instead, and chalk this up to a bad experience with a company that has poor customer service. Zero stars.

I think the author just means that they can’t answer you on the forum, because if they do then they get told off by us as the moderation team. They’re not allowed to support customers here @shorelarkbythesea .

I had initially contacted Support via your website, indicated I had allowed my membership to lapse, and was subsequently directed here.

@shorelarkbythesea, Looks like there’s a communication error, as you’re directing this person to the customer support portal while someone who works for you is directing them back here.

    Hi @anevins

Thanks for taking time to moderate this topic. I am sorry but I think that it is more related to the customer’s unwilling to understand that we are redirecting the customers with an expired membership to the forum just to be able to receive here some help with the free version of the plugin, supposedly that they have deactivated the premium version of the plugin prior asking a non-Pro related question in the forum.

@shorelarkbythesea I will add below a part of the reply that we are using for non-paying, expired members so you could see that we aren’t redirecting the clients so they could get any help with the Pro features in the forum:

If you are using our free NextGEN Gallery, kindly submit your question to the www.ads-software.com forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/nextgen-gallery. If you were directed by one of our team to specifically contact us directly through the WordPress forum, kindly provide the name of the agent. We monitor the WordPress forum a couple of hours a day Tuesday to Friday, so please be patient. We will address your issue in the forum.

    Thanks for your understanding

No, @mihaiimagely Do not. Please read below.

Yes. Full stop, they cannot support that code here. They are not allowed to. That was made clear to you with this reply.

    Hi @shorelarkbythesea,

For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

I’m closing this topic for that reason. Find another plugin, you cannot obtain support for pro features here. @mihaiimagely Is not permitted to support any pro features here regardless if you are an expired customer or not.

No one can fob former customers to this site for support of those features.
