Galleries not showing after update to V5+

    Hey guys,

    I was working on my wordpress updates and had issues with the new version of the Meow gallery plugin (pro version). (I’m always working in local before doing live update and that’s why I can’t share a link with the issue with you)

    • 1st after upgrading to the latest version (5.0.4), none of the galleries where showing anymore and even in development mode, I don’t see any special error message.
    • after updating from wp 6.2 to 6.3.1, all my meow gallery block are in “attempt block recovery” mode and the preview is not showing up… as I have several hundreds of posts with meow galleries, this a bit of an issue.

    I had to revert back to the latest V4 both on the gallery and the lightbox plugins. So know even if my blocks are still in “attempt block recovery” mode, the galleries at least show up in the live blog posts.

    We understand the issue you’re facing, and we have made efforts to help recover galleries through the latest update. They should now be functioning correctly on the live website, accompanied by a warning message on the editor’s side, along with a one-click repair button.

    We acknowledge that manually addressing this issue may be time-consuming, but you only need to update the galleries that you want to modify the content of.

    No warning message or one-click repair button?

    Same as before. No gallery, just one pic after the other with no captions?
