I’m using gallery groups and galleries. Extended works for Gallery groups but when you click on a gallery it always displays as tiled landscape. I want them to display as mosaic where the portrait images are shown in the correct orientation.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi dear @cneumann52,

    Thanks for reaching out

To do that you need to Change the Display/View Type of a Gallery in a Gallery Group

    1. Click Photo Gallery from the menu on the left of your WordPress dashboard.
    2. From the list under?Photo Gallery,?click?Global settings,?then click the?Gallery Group views tab.1_2.png
    3. Find the Gallery View Type option, select the display type of your gallery from the drop-down menu.3.png
    4. Click the Save button at the top right to save your settings. This will apply your selected option to every gallery that uses default options.

In order to apply this setting to a single specific gallery group click the shortcode of the published gallery group in your editor, uncheck the box next to?Use Default Options, click the?Gallery Group?tab, then follow step 3 and click?Update.

Please let me know if it helps,

Your solution did not work. One reason is that I don’t see any way to set ‘Use Default Options’ for a gallery group or for a Gallery. When editing a gallery group or gallery there is no box with the label ‘use default options’.

Dear @cneumann52, this option appears when you generate gallery shortcode/insert it to your page in your builder,

Please see the recording for reference,

Let me know if it works on your end and sincerest apologies for the wait =)
