    Hi!

How to make your theme work with Gallery Carousel Without JetPack?

I installed the plugin. It works perfectly all the theme I’ve try but when I install yours (which is beautiful BTW) I get this in my post:

Jetpack’s Carousel has been disabled, because another plugin or your theme is overriding the [gallery] shortcode.

So I’ve tried to desactivate the other plugins but even though the sentence disappears, the Gallery plugin still doesn’t work.

I suppose there is a compatibility issue with your theme. How can I solve it?

I see what you mean. Ignite runs a function that cleans up the default markup for galleries and makes them HTML 5 compliant. However, this is causing the gallery plugin to malfunction.

I can add a patch for this in the next update for Ignite.

Man it would be perfect. I will try to find a way by then and let you know if I solve it.

When will the next update be released?

Hey just want to give you an update on the next version. I’ll be submitting it tomorrow, and since the review queue is 6 days wait right now, it will probably be available for download next Friday.

Thanks for your patience with this.
