Gallery Custom Link + Elementor

Hi,

I am not using Elementor so I don’t know, but normally, Elementor wouldn’t modify the edit media screen. So you could try to access your media entry from your Media Library and the URL field should be there, at the bottom.

Hi Jordy, I did exactly that. I am using Elementor PRO Gallery with the Masonry layout. I would like the image to link to a page I created in WP. I am working on a local server. In “Link URL” I specified the page I created. In “Link Target” I specified a New Window. I refreshed the page and it did not work. I must be missing something. I have been working on this for days, scouring the internet for answers. Your assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

But it is not working in Gallery pro.
Maybe is because Elementor Gallery pro widget has an option in Settings which allows you to select three options, but these are for the entire gallery (not for each item, as we wish): https://ibb.co/vQmHZwd

Just one question. Would be possible to open the links in a new tab clicking on the right button of the mousse and Open in a new tab? I ask this because when you click in one image in one gallery of the multigallery, when you come back you start from the “All” gallery, not in the gallery when you clicked.

as it is coded now, this would not be possible… I am looking at may be improving the code so that it is a proper html link, instead of a javascript redirection…

If I remove your code, the order looks correct, but obviously there are no links to the images.

Hi how can I use the code if I have multiple categories? I am new to all of this, and I have a gallery layout with three different categories and want the images to link to other pages on my site. If i use the html code, how would that work with the different categories?

If you are using the code from my article, it should work just fine for a gallery with different categories! just keep in mind that the first link will be automatically linked with the first image in the gallery, and so on. And that you need to add a link for every image.

This code is not working for me. nancyrosenephotography.com. It displays the hand icon, so must sense a link, but when I select the gallery image, it does not link to the page.
