Gallery Image Linking

Would it be possible to add the option for linking to a URL when clicking on a gallery image? That would be very useful to us! Would that be complicated to add?

Oh one other request… It would be great if we could change the grid gap between images inside the block only, and not have it affect the external border of the block as a whole, so the outside edges of the block line up with other blocks above and below it, instead of having that margin on the outer edge as well.
