Gallery Image Size

    I have been trying to find what the best size for gallery images is. The website is using WordPress 6.4.1, the theme is Twenty Twenty Three and I’ve used the native gallery.

    There is a masses of information about size for images in other locations – headers, featured images, etc. but nothing that I managed to provoke Google into finding about the gallery.

    There really is no such thing as a “best size for images” in your content, as people will be visiting your site from a varity of devices (phones, tablets, laptop/desktop computers), plus those on laptop/desktop computers will have their own preference for browser window size.

    I recommend finding the balance you like between image quality and file size, and sticking to that.
