Gallery images are cropped, out of focus and pixelated

I hope you are all really well. I have answered all of the questions you specified below:

Describe the problem you are experiencing;
When looking at the masonry gallery on Google Chrome, it looks absolutely fantastic, really great.
However when opening the page via Safari or Firefox the images are all cropped, out of focus and pixelated. When they are clicked on and enlarged they look fine.

Browsers tested: Safari, Google Chrome and Firefox.
Operating system: macOS Sierra, Version 10.12.2

Switch to the default WordPress theme and look if the problem is still there:
Yes, the problem is still there.

UPDATE: After I switched to the default WordPress theme and then switched back to my chosen theme, the problem is now on Google Chrome as well, so now the problem is on all the browsers.

See if the problem is repeatable, also on another computers:
Yes, I’ve just check on someone else computer and the images are still blurred/pixelated/cropped.

UPDATE: On Chrome, I’ve tried clicking on and off the page numerous times and now sometimes the gallery looks fine, other times it does not. It seems random. I repeated this experiement with Safari and Firefox but the problem always persists on those browsers and never looks correct.
