Gallery Images distorted to squares

Hi!

I’m using elementor and the oceanwp theme and i’m having problems with my gallery. All my gallery thumbnails are distorted to squares. They all have their correct dimensions in the elementor preview, but once i load the oceanwp preview or the actual website, they are distorted to squares. The images look fine in the lightbox and full size though. I don’t have elementor pro, so i’ve tried several different other gallery plugins (currently Modula). The only one that seems to work is the basic elementor gallery widget, but I don’t want to use it, as it does a poor job with mixing landscape and portrait pics.

I hope someone can help me out here, would really apreciate it!
