Gallery images do not update

    My site using latest version (though it did happen at least back to 5.5) -tested with both redis and memcached as well – and supsystic gallery. When I replace an image in the gallery or add an image to the gallery the frontend is not updated. If I deactivate this plugin, turn off or purge the cache frontend looks as expected. A few minutes before this post (and previously as well) I have tested with default WP theme with only this and the gallery plugin active, issue has always remained. I am open to switching to a different gallery plugin but as indicated this is happening in an environment with nothing obvious conflicting. Not using any CDNs either.

    Perhaps there is a way to not cache images but the only option I am aware of is the excludes text area which means using variations of ^/wp-content/uploads? if that is the case it doesn’t seem to work either. Hard refresh does not help, I believe this is not a browser cache issue.

    this sounds like you change the images but cache did not get automatically purged

    please check with your gallery plugin support , if they have some hook that is fired when image replace, where we can use it to trigger cache purge.
