gallery in grid mode does not work

I was using version 2.5.5, yesterday I updated WordPress and the plugin to the latest version, and the gallery stopped working in grid mode, it keeps loading for about 45 seconds and gives a 502 error in the console.
I disabled the plugin and the gallery works again but no thumbnail appears because all images are deleted from the server after being uploaded to Google Storage
