Gallery include exclude ID

  • Hi I am testing WP 2.9 and I am trying to figure out how to exclude certain images from gallery. It should work by add exclude parameter to gallery tag
    [gallery exclude=1]
    should exlude first picture right or what exactly is id of picture?

  • it’s the ‘attachment_id’ — for example you see them in the status bar, when you mouse-over the thumbnails in the Media Library. e.g.,

    https://.../wp-admin/media.php?action=edit&attachment_id=59

    would be for id=59.

    I was totally puzzled and was trying to use the IDs that one can see when one changes the order of images within a gallery and not the global IDs ??
