Gallery is still not cycling through images

I have no navigation in my gallery images.
I use rel=”lightbox” in NEXTGEN gallery Lightbox Effects setting. This has always worked now clicking on a thumbnail causes the image to pop up as a single image not part of a gallery.
I have tried these also
data-rel=”lightbox”
rel=”lightbox[%GALLERY_NAME%]”none work
