    Hello people,

Today I have updated the plugin Photo Gallery and I am facing the following issue.

    Case 1
When I insert one photo gallery into a page/post (for example [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”57″ gal_title=”New Zealand”]), in the front-end, the gallery appears to be loading indefinitely. The loader keeps loading forever – https://www.mileswithvibes.com/visit-new-zealand/.

    Case 2
However, If I insert a photo gallery two-times in a row (e.g. in two consecutive blocks) ([Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”57″ gal_title=”New Zealand”]) + ([Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”57″ gal_title=”New Zealand”]) the second gallery is being displayed without any issues, whereas the first one keeps loading as in the first case. You can look an example at https://www.mileswithvibes.com/visit-australia/.

    Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Dear @mileswithvibes,

    Sorry for the belated response.

Would you please disable autoptimize and try to publish the gallery again?

    Sincerely,

Hi all, I’m Autoptimize’s developer with a pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1 to the URL.

if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.

    hope this helps debugging,
    frank

Thank you so much for getting back to me! I have tried adding “?ao_noptimize=1” on the end of the URL but the issue is not getting solved. It seems that things are getting a bit tricky here so I would be best to switch to the default WP Gallery with any limitations it might bring – but it will surely work!

I really do appreciate your time and replies! Thanks a lot!

I had what sounds like the same problem. Using ?ao_noptimize=1 did fix the problem in my case. Based on experimentation with the AO options, it appears the “Optimize HTML Code?” option was causing the problem for me. Thanks for the tip.
