Gallery more settings option does not work

  • Once I have created a gallery, I cannot see how to ever get back in to deselect the “Show slideshow” option. When I am on my gallery page in wordpress, and click on Nexgen’s Manage Galleries tab, the “More Gallery Settings” option at the top is not clickable. I suspect this is where my slideshow deselect option may be, but your webpage code did not include the link here Please tell me how i can turn off the slideshow now. I have added a Supersize slideshow and no longer need this.

  • The same on my site since I′ve updated to the latest WordPress Version 3.8. Until then everthing was working well. By now I updated to the latest NextGEN Gallery Version (Version 2.0.40).
    Gallery Settings and Other Options gives me a white – blanc page with no content.

    Any Ideas?

    I’ve had the same issue. I have resolved it to a certain point. I have Roles and Capabilities set up for Editors and Administrators. I’ve found that when I’m logged in as an admin the “Gallery settings (Click here for more settings)” is not functioning. However if I log in as an Editor, these settings are viewable by default. BTW, clicking on the “Gallery settings (Click here for more settings)” does nothing. I would expect it to toggle the display of these settings but it doesn’t.

    @pharosinteernet – It would be much better for you to create a new topic for your issue rather than try to resurrect one that is 8 months old, especially since you are bringing new and potentially different issues forward.

    This is not a different issue. Since there was no response from anyone, including photocrati, I felt it was useful to give some closure to these posters. It seems to be a valid issue and after researching this for hours I’ve found nothing anywhere that addresses it. I think leaving a issue unanswered for 8 months is quite inconsiderate.

    @pharosinteernet – The OP is writing to an issue with text not acting as a toggle, you are referring to something else … and happen to note the toggle issue.

    So instead of being a pedant about forum rules, it would be nice if you would address the issue-

    The (Click here for more settings) options does not do anything and pharosinteernet’s work-around does not work for me.

    Actual help would be appreciated.

    @cdhagan – My apologies for asking other posters to follow the forum rules … I don’t make them nor do I enforce them, but it is much easier to address an individual’s concerns and simply a fair use of these forums as well.
