Gallery not cycling through all images

    Hi,

    When I create a gallery and click an image to enlarge it only shows that one image. The navigation arrows don’t show so I cannot cycle through the images. I have 10 images in a gallery on a page but it behaves like 10 separate galleries. When I click on an image to enlarge it I then have to close it down to view a different image.

    Any help with this will be much appreciated.

    @tnightingale, this is not the syntax our plugin is using.

    To have a working gallery your image links should look like:

    <a href="..." data-rel="lightbox-gallery-1">your link/image</a>

    Then why does rel=”prettyphoto” work for the second page I listed? Those links all use rel=”prettyphoto”. Sure they get converted to something else automatically when output but that’s what they are in the editor.

    For the Sabai Directory I will let the author know that the current template code doesn’t work with your plugin anymore without adjusting.

    I tested using data-rel=”prettyphoto-gallery-1″ – then there’s no lightbox effect at all. (doesn’t work for “lightbox-gallery-1” either)

    You said earlier in this thread:

    Each element that’s about to create a gallery should have identical rel attribute, for example:

    rel=”lightbox[gallery-1]”

    or

    rel=”lightbox”

    or

    rel=”lightbox-0″

    not data-rel…. and if my selector is “prettyphoto” then the rel value should reflect that, correct?

    I have the same issue. I have no navigation in my gallery images.

    I use rel=”lightbox” in NEXTGEN gallery Lightbox Effects setting. This has always worked now clicking on a thumbnail causes the image to come up as a single image not part of a gallery.

    @thedonat, try switching to data-rel=”lightbox” instead and try again.
