    hi!

    i updated my website from an older version to the latest.
    yesterday everythings seems fine, but today i updated one more plugins and the NGG stop working, reporting me :

    “Gallery not found. Please check your settings.”

    i search for some solutions, but i don’t know exactly what to do…i deactivate others plugin (the one i’ve updated today) but NGG still not working.

    my problem also is i have to incorporate in my header, not using the normal shortcode but using this formula

    <?php
    echo ‘<div id=”headerSlider”>’;
    echo do_shortcode(‘[ngg_images gallery_ids=”13″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow” gallery_width=”903″ gallery_height=”300″ cycle_interval=”4″ ]’);
    echo ‘</div>’;
    ?>

  • Ok seems that the gallery not found is a serious problem that need to be fixed ASAP. I’ve got a full gallery with over 5000 venice carnival images and i cannot display in home page ??

    I went back to version 2.00
    everything works

    All – The work-around I noted is specifically for NextGEN Gallery version 2.0.46 (provided you were not experiencing any issue prior to updating) and only that version. If you are experiencing issues with “missing galleries” that is not related please start your own topic here or feel free to submit a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/)

    @rayrodin – Thanks for your follow-up response. Although rolling back that far has not been necessary you should be able to re-update to version 2.0.40 now.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

    Hi, I just created a gallery at the page https://www.bmwnetwork.net/gallery/. The slideshow seems to be working just right.

    When I go into the Thumbnail mode: https://www.bmwnetwork.net/gallery/nggallery/thumbnails, there are supposed to be 4 pages. But when I tried to go to the next page (https://www.bmwnetwork.net/gallery/nggallery/thumbnails/page/2), it gave me this error: Gallery not found. Please check your settings.

    Anyone knows how to rectify this?

    Same as previous post:
    https://www.annnoelartist.com/2010/04/welcome-2/nggallery/thumbnails/page/2

    Gallery not found. Please check your settings.

    I followed the instructions above about resetting options and the flush. This got rid of the error on home page, but still have error going to page 2 of thumbnails.

    Hansaa, Your solution worked for me! Thank you!

    (Hansaa’s reply above is not showing up for me for some reason)
    Here is what hansaa wrote:
    “I was experiencing the same issues as “all of the above”.
    I just noticed that after I changed the value of “Permalink slug” from “nggallery” to “ngg_images” under Gallery -> Other options -> Miscelaneous, everything seems to work.
    v 2.0.61
    I hope works for more people.”

    @photocrati – your solution worked – thanks a bunch!

    For those affected by the “missing galleries” issue in 2.0.46, you can go under Gallery > Other Options > Reset Options … click the Reset button; wait for the page to refresh and click the Save button.

    Next, enter your domain followed by /?ngg_flush=1 to clear all the NextGEN caches (e.g.: https://example.com/?ngg_flush=1).
