I am trying to activate my gallery feature. I have set up several galleries and have one photo with description linked to the gallery call home decor. I added description and alt tag and saved. I cannot see anywhere that the gallery is showing. I have thesis 2.9 theme.

I also deactivated all plugins except for the nextegen gallery. Where is this supposed to show up.

Also, if I do get this installed is there a way to add a shopping cart feature to deach gallery item description so people can purchase from my site?

@teestew – Can you provide a link to where you have inserted this image linked to the gallery?

As to the eCommerce solution, feel free to look into our NextGEN Pro plugin available from our site at https://nextgen-gallery.com/

    Thanks!

Here is a link to the homepage https://www.serendipitini.com

    Gallery path /wp-content/gallery/home-decor

    Link to page is Home

    Page id is 2545

Should the gallery be showing up as a tab at the top of the page?

I still have all add on widgets disables except for the gallery

@teestew – This page https://www.serendipitini.com/?page_id=2545, based on your references above does not have a NextGEN Gallery displayed on it …

Whether there is a “tab” at the top of the page or not is more to do with your theme and how it/you are creating that menu/navigation section.

There could also be a plugin conflict going on here or at least it should be ruled out (I noticed a third-party extension in the page source). Have you tried deactivating all of your plugins, clearing your browser cache (and site caches if you are using a caching plugin), then reactivating the NextGEN plugin?

If this fixes the problem then it was likely one of the deactivated plugins that was causing an issue. Now, retrace your steps activating each plugin and re-checking to see if the problem returns. If it does then that last activated plugin was probably the one. Keep reactivating and in most cases it is also best to keep checking after each plugin, sometimes there may be more than one plugin on a site that will create an issue. If you do find one (or more) plugins causing this problem we would greatly appreciate your feedback on them so the developers may address them as soon as they can.

Also to note, in rare cases it may be the theme itself that is causing a conflict so while you have just the NextGEN plugin activated you might consider temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress Twenty series themes and see if this corrects the issue as well.

If the problem still persists after all of this we would still want to know, even more so, as we will still want to sort out the issue and may need additional details.

    Thanks!
