Gallery not showing

    When I insert a SimpLy Blocks gallery it displays fine when I’m editing the page, but it doesn’t show at all when I preview or after publishing. I’m using GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks.

    I did have one gallery functioning well, but I unfortunately deleted it while trying to figure this out and now can’t make a new gallery.

    Some kind of plug-in (maybe a theme), modify the gallery contents (spoil). By adding / * <! [CDATA [* / to the script tag. This is a conflict with your theme or with some kind of plugin.

    The problem is resolved, I think… It seems to have been related to my use, or rather misuse, of the media library. I had a number of attempts and false starts with setting up a gallery, and each time I’d just drag the photos from my file manager into the gallery. This resulted in multiple copies of the same file in the media library. I cleaned out the library and now bring files into the gallery from the media library instead of dragging them from my file manager, at least if they’re already in the library.

    Yes, thank you. I’m really liking SimpLy Gallery. It would be nice if it had more flexibility on placing the IPTC caption, especially to put it on the bottom. Right now I’m using XnView to add a white border, then another batch process to add in the IPTC caption in the bottom white border. Not a big deal and your program works well.
