• Hi

I added a post and format is “gallery”. I added 4 pictures to the Gallery but no pictures are shown? I read docs and support threads but didn’t find a solution.
If we can get the gallery to show – I wanted to add some describing / interpreting the art and some dimensions (100x150x2cm) (Maybe dimensions could be it’s own field? ??
Or maybe you could recommend a compatible gallery plugin?

Have a nice day and thx for your time and effort

  • Hello @netz,

Could you please send us a screenshot of the issue you’re facing? This would help us understand the problem better. I checked your website, it seems that it has a white screen problem, which is related to the server: https://postimg.cc/n9qkyJp7.

Please note that you can’t upload with those sizes. The image should be appropriate for the web, not print. Our recommendation for uploading an image at max is 1920px with any height and 2550px or 3550px for retina screens – but not more than 200kb for each image. Any size more than these will consume the server resources for upload, and no one can see those images easily (if it is for downloading; it is allowed).

If you use the latest version of WordPress and our products(OceanWP, Ocean Extra and etc), the gallery post format will work very well.

Here are some screenshots from the gallery on OceanWP theme: https://postimg.cc/gallery/436qydC.

If you prefer to use a third-party plugin for the gallery, you can search in the WordPress repository to find a plugin to do this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/.

About the blog page, which is blank(now I’m writing this reply), it may be related to the host. Please get in touch with your host provider to check the usage of your site, or turn on the WP debugger and check the debug log for any possible error.

    I hope it helps.
    Best Regards
