Gallery not showing properly on homepage and othe rquestions

  • 1. I have the gallery showing properly on the gallery page, but it isn’t showing on the homepage. The category headings I selected are showing on the homepage, but not the images. These same categories are working on the gallery page.

    2. Is there a way to add text to the gallery page by editing the page? What I have entered on the gallery page does not show once I change the template to gallery.

    3. Is there a way to control what order the images are shown in the gallery? It seems to be just based off of date of post creation.

    4. Is it possible to show the images in the gallery uncropped?

    I believe I have the issue of images not showing on the homepage gallery partially resolved, but not the others.
