Gallery not working on iPhone & iPad ???

    Hi

    ** On the page in question, the gallery comes under the heading of ‘Partners, Friends and Clients’ **

    With a gallery that has been working faultlessly until now, I edited the gallery yesterday by adding one new image and deleting another. Nothing major. …but for some reason, the gallery is now not displaying on iPhone and iPad, although it is working on laptop. I have no idea how to fault find this?

    I have cleared cache via caching plugin and tried running the page in a private browswer (to avoid any related caching issues), but it still doesn’t run. I also don’t know about android devices as I don’t have one to test.

    The thing I can add is that the page (on the iphone/ipad) has the large ’empty’ space that would otherwise be occupied by the functioning gallery. So it’s just the images that aren’t displaying.

    (the version of ios on each device is different and I tried both on Safari and Opera browser on iphone with same result)

    Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I just wished to let you know that, on my Android tablet, I see the following under ‘Partners, Friends and Clients’ (browsing on Firefox): a series of logos and below, a number of pictures with a greyish background.

    Hope you’ll get the issue sorted on Apple devices!

    But it also looks like you may have picked up the code tags when inserting the gallery shortcode onto the page?

    Can you edit the page and switch to the Text tab, you may see something like this example:https://cl.ly/0n2H403N0W3p

    If you could remove the code tags and just leave the shortcode wrapped in the square brackets and please let me know if that resolves the issue for you. This can happen when you don’t use the Add Gallery button or the clipboard icon to copy.

    The shortcode is in a Text Widget and yes, the ‘code’ tags had been inserted [by WordPress].

    Have removed the tags and all functionality is restored (and formatting for that matter).
